    What Different Bag Types We Can Do?

    There are mainly 5 different kind of bag types:flat bag, stand up bag, side gusset bag, flat bottom bag and film roll. These 5 types are the most widely used and general ones. Besides, different materials,extra accessories(like zipper, hang hole, window, valve, etc) or seal methods(seal top, bottom, side, back, heat seal, zip lock, tin tie, etc) wont influence the bag types.

    1. Flat bag

    Flat bag, also called pillow bag, plain bag, etc, is the most simple type. Like its name, it is just flat, normally seal left, right and bottom side, leave top side for customers to fill in their products inside, but also some customers prefer we manufacturer to seal the top and leave bottom open, since we normally can seal it smoother and make it looks better when customers pay more attention on the top side. Besides, there are also some back side seal flat bags. Flat bags are normally used for some small sachet, sample, popcorn, frozen food, rice and flour, underwear, hairpiece,facial mask, etc. Flat bag is cheaper and save spaces when you store them compared with other types.

    2. Stand up bag

    Stand up bag is the most widely used bag type. It is suitable for most products, especially for different kinds of food. Stand up bag can be self-standing with its bottom, which make it can be displayed on the shelf of the supermarket, thus make it more obvious and more information that printed on the bags can be seen. Stand up bags can be with or without zipper and window, matt or shiny, and it is normally used for snacks like chips, candy, dried fruits,nuts, dates, beef jerky, etc, cannabis, coffee and tea, powders, pet treats, etc.

    3. Side gusset bag

    Side gusset bag is not that popular compared with stand up bag,  normally there is no zipper for side gusset bag, people like to use tin tie or clip to reseal it, and it is limited to some specific goods, such as coffee, food grains, tea, etc. But that wont influence the diversity of side gusset bag. Different material, hang hole, window, back seal, etc can all be showed on it. Besides, with side expanding, there will be a bigger capacity of side gusset bag, but lower price.

    4. Flat bottom bag

    Flat bottom can be called the most elegant girl among all types, it is like a combination of stand up bag and side gusset bag, with both side and bottom gusset, it is with the largest capacity than other bags, and sides to print brand designs. But like each coin has two sides, luxuriant appearance means higher MOQ and price.

    5. Film roll

    Seriously speaking, film roll is not a specific bag type, before a bag to be cut into a separated single bag after printing, laminating and solidifying, they all in one roll. They will be cut into different types based on requirements, while if customer orders film roll, then we just need to slit the big roll into small rolls with proper weight. In order to use film roll, you will need to have a filling machine, with which you can finish filling goods and seal the bags together, and that save a lot of time and labor cost. Most films rolls work for flat bags, no zipper, if you require other types, and with zipper, etc, normally filling machine need to be customized and with higher price.
